ESCA Wanderers, the Elite Sporting and Cultural Academy, is a private independent school committed to Developing the Talent of Africa. ESCA is a proud partner of the International Schools Development Organisation, and is located at the prestigious Wanderers Sports Club in Illovo, Johannesburg.

Our school supports and facilitates an individualised learning environment for students who have a specific interest in sports and/or culture. At ESCA, our students have access to top-class facilities, teachers, coaches and programmes, all working together to support the achievement of individual sporting/cultural and academic goals.

Margie has been an education trailblazer for more than 31 years and holds an Honours Degree in Specialised Education from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Her vision has always been to revolutionise education in South Africa and she believes in the potential of all children. Margie inspires her staff and learners to be resourceful, accountable and to endorse the latest and best teaching and learning techniques.
